What is your favorite thing about being a dancer?
I have a lot of favorite things: I love moving and creating everyday. I love the feeling of freedom I have when I dance. I love being competitive with myself and seeing if I can push myself to be better than I was before. I learn new things about my movement and I feel very in-tune with my body.

What teacher inspired you the most?
I have a lot of teachers that inspired me to be a dancer but the most influential would be Barbara Pontecorvo. She provided amazing opportunities for me at such a young age.

What are your biggest career highlights?
Performing onstage in China with the Beijing Dance Academy! I did a performance that consisted of four George Balanchine ballets: SerenadeValse-FantaisieConcerto Barocco, and Who Cares? Also performing Gerald Arpino’s Trinity!

Do you have any pets?
I have 2 dachshunds: June and August (Augie).

What do you want patrons to know about you?
I have lived in Dayton my whole life and I am really passionate about the arts and everything that Dayton has to offer. I am also a new mom and still dancing! I feel that it has really enhanced my dancing.
