What is your favorite thing about being a dancer?
I enjoy the unique combination of art and athleticism. I love playing different characters on stage.

Do you have any pre-concert rituals or routines?
I say a prayer before shows. I treat every show as a new performance so I don’t like to keep the same routine.

Favorite role or costume so Far?
Too many to choose from. I love Spanish in Nutcracker.

What do you want patrons to know about you?
I am working on my Bachelors of Science in History. I also enjoy studying philosophy and religion.

What do you think you’d be doing if you weren’t a professional dancer?
I would probably pursue a law degree or a PHD in history. Those might be career options when I’m done dancing.

What is your favorite food or cuisine?
Hard to pick. I love classic American foods.

What sport(s) do you participate in?
I used to play basketball and lacrosse. I lift weights as part of my cross training.

Do you have a favorite sports team?
I love the University of Notre Dame. I’m also a Detroit Lions Fan (constant heartbreak hahaha).

Do you have pets?
Not mine but my family has two dogs.

What are you most looking forward to this season?
Peter Pan!

What are your biggest career highlights?
I loved dancing Val Caniparoli’s “Violin” with Richmond Ballet.

What teacher, mentor or other influencer inspired you the most?
Slawomir Wozniak, director of Master Ballet Academy and Phoenix Ballet.

What advice would you give to aspiring dancers?
Patience and persistence. Have a set goal but realize it will take time. Always have the mindset that you can improve.
