What is your favorite thing about the Dayton Ballet?
My favorite thing about Dayton Ballet is the people that I work with. From the moment I stepped in the studios, every single one of the dancers and staff have been nothing but kind and welcoming.

Do you have any pre-concert rituals or routines?
One thing I usually do before a show is listen to music while I’m getting ready in the dressing room. My coworkers all laugh at me for this but the song of choice most often is Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas is You”. Even if it’s not the winter time, it will forever be my good luck song for every show, mainly because of a ritual I had at an old studio.

What do you think you’d be doing if you weren’t a professional dancer?
If I wasn’t a professional dancer I probably would have pursued a career in either physical therapy or in nutrition and dietetics.

What is your favorite food or cuisine?
My all time favorite food would have to be oatmeal with peanut butter and bananas because I eat it every single morning!

What do you want patrons to know about you?
I want the patrons to know that I try to put one hundred percent effort into every role. I love to play around and layer new characterization or artistry during the rehearsal process as I get closer and closer to a performance. I just hope to give the audience the best version of each role I am given and make each performance better than the last.
