Prequel
Our story begins with the lovely Mr. and Mrs. Crane and their young son, Ichabod. The Cranes cherish young Ichabod and the life they have made as a family. Much to their dismay, Mr. Crane is called away to fight in the Revolutionary War and leave his beloved family.
Father Crane joins the fight for freedom and encounters a powerful Hessian soldier in battle. The two fight vigorously, and Crane manages to behead the soldier. As he looks down at the man he killed, he notices a beautiful medal on his chest and claims it as a personal reward for his triumph in battle.
Battle-weary from his service, Mr. Crane, returns home to his beloved family. After a heart-warming reunion, Father Crane presents the medal to young Ichabod as a souvenir. Simultaneously the forest stirs and comes alive with magical energy as the spirit of the beheaded Hessian soldier relentlessly searches for peace that will not come until he finds his precious medal.
Act 1
Years pass, and we find the Crane’s cherished son, Ichabod, grown and working as a teacher. Interestingly, Ichabod is infatuated with the supernatural. In particular, a book about the legend of the Headless Horseman, a fearless apparition often attended by a troop of vicious ghosts who torment the forest outside of the village of Sleep Hollow, New York. Fascinated by the tale, Ichabod decides to visit the village where the legend began.
As he arrives in Sleepy Hollow, Ichabod meets another teacher, a pretty Katrina Van Tassel. They become close friends, which makes Katrina’s admirer, Brom van Brunt, insanely jealous. Brom is constantly vying for Katrina’s attention, and Ichabod Crane’s arrival makes it even more difficult to catch her eye.
Ichabod’s obsession with the legend of the Headless Horseman and claim to have the medal worn by the infamous Hessian soldier puzzles the townspeople, especially Katrina and Brom’s circle of friends. His claims fall on deaf ears, and no one believes his story.
One night, Brom and his friends are resting after a long day when they hear noises from the forest. Suddenly, the Headless Horseman appears before them, and the men begin to fight him. Brom and his friends are no match for the Headless Horseman. Just as it seems they will all perish, the Horseman notices Ichabod Crane’s book about the legend of the Headless Horseman. The Horseman demands to know who owns the book, as he believes whoever owns the book will lead him to his long-lost medal. Fearing for this life, Brom tells the Horseman it is Ichabod Cranes.
The following day, Katrina’s friends rush to tell her and Ichabod about the terrifying attack from the Headless Horseman. Brom, wanting to capture Katrina’s attention, boasts that he defeated the evil Headless Horseman and assures the town they are safe. Meanwhile, a bewildered Ichabod fears the Horseman is not defeated and will come for his medal.

Nuestra historia comienza con el Sr. y la Sra. Crane y su hijo pequeño, Ichabod. Los Cranes adoran a su

Primer Acto
Los años han pasado, y encontramos al amado hijo Crane, Ichabod, crecido y trabajando como maestro.
Irónicamente, Ichabod está obsesionado con los fenómenos sobrenaturales. En particular, un libro
acerca de la leyenda del jinete sin cabeza, una aparición intrépida que a menudo es visitada por una
tropa de fantasmas despiadados que atormentan el bosque a las afueras del pueblo de Sleepy Hollow,
Nueva York. Fascinado por el relato, Ichabod decide visitar el pueblo que dio inicio a la leyenda.
Al llegar a Sleepy Hollow, Ichabod conoce a una bonita maestra, Katrina Van Tassel. Ellos se convierten
en amigos cercanos, lo que hace que el admirador de Katrina, Brom van Brunt, está sumamente celoso.
Brom lucha constantemente por la atención de Katrina, y la llegada de Ichabod Crane hace más difícil

pelear. Brom y sus amigos no están a la altura del jinete sin cabeza. Justo cuando todo parece perdido,
el jinete nota el libro del jinete sin cabeza de Ichabod Crane. El jinete demanda saber quién es el dueño
del libro, ya que él cree que el dueño del libro lo llevará a su medalla perdida. Temiendo por su vida,
Brom le dice al Jinete que el dueño es Ichabod Cranes.
