Dr. Michael Todd Krueger currently serves as conductor and music director for two of the outstanding auditioned community choruses along the Colorado Front Range: Voices West, based out of Littleton, Colorado and the 120-voice Larimer Chorale in Fort Collins, Colorado. Krueger’s recent conducting opportunities with these choirs includes: Dona Nobis Pacem by Vaughan Williams, Haydn’s Missa In Tempore Belli, the Mozart Requiem, Handel’s Messiah, Orff’s Carmina Burana, Brahms’ Ein deutsches Requiem, Mass in C Major by Beethoven and the Duruflé Requiem.
Michael earned a B.A. degree in music from Luther College, a M.M. degree from the University of Northern Colorado (Greeley) and the D.M.A. degree in choral conducting and literature from the University of Illinois. He has served on the music faculties of Ithaca College, Morningside College, Millikin University, and the University of Wyoming. He has conducted all-state, honor choir, and choral festival performances for singers of all ages throughout North and South America and Europe and has led numerous concert tours to the many cultural centers of Europe.
