Marissa is an actor and teaching artist hailing from San Antonio, Texas and proudly becoming a Brooklynite. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Theatre Studies with an associated study in Psychology from the University of Evansville as well as a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from the American Repertory Theater Institute at Harvard University. Some of her favorite credits include playing Horatio in an all-female identifying cast of Taming of the Shrew, Juliet at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and performing Thornton Wilder's short plays at the Moscow Art Theatre. Outside of acting, teaching, or running races, Marissa's ideal day would consist of surfing at sunrise, reading sci-fi novels and curling up on the couch watching Survivor reruns. She is a proud member of Actors' Equity Association.
