My name is Corey Patton and I am graduating from South Spencer High School in Rockport, IN. I have played the bassoon since 6th grade and also play tenor sax in the school marching band and jazz band. Playing in the EPYO for the last 4 years has been very rewarding and has given me new and challenging pieces to work on and perform.

I plan to attend Indiana University Jacobs School of Music in the fall and study performance and education. I have enjoyed my time in the EPYO and also as a mentor for EPYO II. I’d like to thank Dr. Chen, Dr. Lacy, Dr. Robertson, and Chaz for all the encouragement and support over the years. I will miss my friends and teachers.
