Derrick relocated to OKC from LA about a year ago to teach On-Camera Acting at Oklahoma City University.  His stage and screen acting work has spanned several decades.  He is also an independent filmmaker, having earned his MFA in Film Production (along with an MFA in Acting.)  Having grown up on the coast of North Carolina, and his west coast home being Long Beach, CA, Derrick is a 100% beach guy.  He says, "Beach, coffee, film; that's the life!"
