London Oldacre is a senior homeschool student who began playing the violin at 8 years old. Much of her enjoyment and success with her instrument is due to her incredible instructors over the years who included Jenna Martin, Shelley Armer, and Dr. Miroslav Hristov, whom she will continue to study under at the University of Tennessee College of Music in the fall. Along with music, London is planning to double major in Biochemistry as she has found that two passions can be even better than one (and maybe even help to balance each other out!). London has thoroughly enjoyed her seven years playing with the KSYO, and she is thrilled to continue to play under the direction of Maestro Fellenbaum. Besides violin and science, London finds pleasure in hiking, playing basketball, and pickleball. London would like to extend a special thank you to Julie Carter and the Joy of Music School, which has made her career as a musician possible.
