Kristina Taylor

Kristina Taylor is a senior homeschool student with James Madison. She began playing violin at Cornerstone Academy in Morristown. Kristina has immensely enjoyed playing violin for three seasons with KSYO. She has been a student of Mary Pulgar for three years and with Hart Strings and Kathy Hart for the last year and a half. Kristina is sincerely grateful for the opportunity to grow musically and personally with amazing teachers and mentors. Outside of studies, Kristina swam competitively for most of her academic life with both Tennessee Aquatics and Prime Aquatics. And avid tennis player, she has also enjoyed competing in school and USTA tennis matches. Kristina enjoys sailing and was fortunate to attend USNA’s summer sailing programs. In her downtime, Kristina loves caring for and spending time with her seven kitties, and can often be found drawing, painting, or putting together 3D puzzles. Kristina is going to take a gap year to complete surgeries at Vanderbilt and to squeeze in some travel time. She plans to go to Carson Newman University and pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design.
