"Sing to the Moon is a composition for brass quintet that is inspired by one of my favorite songs, Sing to the Moon by Laura Mvula. 

The interpolated melody provides the framework for the contrasting sections of this composition that flow between lyrical and technical. I wanted to write something that would be in the spirit of beauty and hopefulness, even amid the times we are in now. 

This work is dedicated to the Knoxville Symphony Brass Quintet, as part of the KSO's 9 for 90 Project."
