Gracie Carmichael is a senior at Sevier County High School. She has played horn since 5th grade and has been a Knoxville Youth Symphony Orchestra member for the past 2 years. Gracie studies with Doc Ramsey, and Meredith Simpson, both of which she expresses the utmost gratitude for. She has been a member of the SCHS marching, concert, and Symphonic bands, as well as being an ETSBOA and TMEA All-State Musician. In the fall, Gracie will be attending the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where she will study Applied Music and Business. She would like to thank her mom and family for lessons, driving to each band event, and for always supporting her musical passions, no matter how absurd they could be.
