Eden Alderman
Violin

Eden Alderman is a homeschool senior under Berean Christian School who has committed to attend Evangel University this fall to study Music Education, with the goal of becoming a private violin teacher. Her love for music, rooted in family, has been cultivated through 13 years of study with her violin teacher, Kathy Hart, whose guidance has shaped her both musically and personally. Eden has been a member of the Knoxville Symphony Youth Orchestras for 10 seasons, including serving as concertmaster in the Youth Chamber Orchestra in the 2022-2023 season. She has also performed with the Knoxville Sinfonietta Orchestra. For the past five years, she has participated in the Youth Chamber Music Program, where she has developed a deep appreciation for collaboration and respect among fellow musicians. She was also featured on a bluegrass album recorded on Music Row in Nashville. She has had the opportunity to participate in a worship set alongside Garett and Kate Serban of Bethel Music. She is actively involved in worship as a violinist, serving on her church’s worship team and playing throughout the Knoxville area. Eden is deeply grateful to her past and present conductors Megan Kehren, Erin Archer, Cynthia Wright, Wesley Baldwin, Nina Missildine, Kathy Hart, Katie Liaw, and Maestro Fellenbaum for their lasting impact on her life and musicianship.
