Knoxville native Kathryn Paden is a vocalist, performer and voice teacher whose work spans concert, theatrical and church music. She performs with the Knoxville Choral Society, Knoxville Chamber Chorale and Amadeus Concert Ensemble and has appeared with organizations including Knoxville Opera Company, Clarence Brown Theatre, Oak Ridge Playhouse and The WordPlayers.
Paden is a familiar presence with the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra, having appeared as a guest artist for the Clayton Holiday Concerts, Symphony Ball, the KSO and Clarence Brown Theatre’s 2018 production of Candide, and several Very Young People’s Concerts. Since 2022, she has served as narrator for the KSO’s Musical Story Time program.
Paden holds a bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance from Tennessee Wesleyan University and has taught private voice since 2010.
