Tim Pope was born and raised in Memphis, TN. He discovered his love for music through the various choirs he sang in growing up. Tim continued to pursue his love for music at the University of Memphis, where he received a BM in vocal performance. While at U of M, he developed an interest in opera, and has participated in multiple operas since as chorus member, secondary principle, and leading principle.  Tim has recently finished his MM at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, and is currently singing in outreach concerts with Knoxville Opera. Since moving to Knoxville, he has worked with Knoxville Opera and Marble City Opera, as well as the UT Opera Theatre, in their opera seasons.
