Ella Maine is graduating from the L & N STEM Academy where she was a member in the music program there for four years with Mr. Stone. Even though it’s a smaller orchestra, she enjoyed being able to grow close with her fellow musicians as well as receiving plenty of individual help on pieces and techniques. Ella has been in the KSYOA for three seasons, 8th grade, 9th grade, and 12th grade (Unfortunately, she missed two years due to the pandemic). She had the privilege of experiencing the different orchestras and instructors and enjoyed working with Ms. Erin, Ms. Cynthia, and Ms. Kathy. She loves this program and the opportunities that it offers for young musicians. Ella plans to pursue a degree in either Electrical Engineering or Nuclear Medicine/Imaging Sciences at Pellissippi State Community College and then transfer to UTK. She plans to keep playing the viola as a lifelong pursuit.
