Meg Markwith
Music Director

is so excited to rock the Thomaston Opera House for one of her favorite shows of all time! Meg is a graduate of The Hartt School and Loyola University Maryland, achieving her MEd in Kodály Music Education in 2020. She is a musician who wears many hats including performer, teacher, and director. As a performer, Meg currently serves as the principal accompanist for CitySingers of Hartford and appears with other local choirs and pits for various performances. Meg is proud to say that her private students are awarded leading roles in their performances and invited to auditions across the country. Favorite directorial credits include “The Fantasticks” at CTAW, “Annie” at FVAM, and “High School Musical” at the Mandell JCC. Special thanks to the production team for the synergy, the cast for their hard work, and the audience for their energy. As David Coverdale says in the Rock of Ages OBC - “Thank you, and enjoy having your faces melted.”
