Timothy Barton
Pontius Pilate

Tim is thrilled to be making his Landmark Community Theatre debut. This is his first performance at the Thomaston Opera House and he loves this theater. For many years, Tim was the guest soloist for the University Glee Club Christmas show, one of the oldest choral groups in the country. He was the lead singer for several classic and modern rock bands over the years including Gig*A*Bit and has been in many productions in the area including shows at the Hartford Stage Company, Die Fledermaus at the New Haven Schubert Theater opera group and the 20th anniversary of "Hair" at the Bridgeport Cabaret. Tim loves this musical and previously played Jesus in a 1987 production at the Bristol Civic Theater and Pontius Pilate at the Warner Theater in 2012. Some of the other favorite roles he’s performed are, Lank in "Crazy for you" at the Warner Theater, Anatoly in "Chess" at the Killington Playhouse, and Jim in "Pump Boys and Dinettes" at the CT Cabaret and the Hilton Head Playhouse. He would like to thank God for every wonderful day, the staff for giving him this great opportunity, the crew for everything they do, and “this amazing cast for their hard work and talent. It’s an honor to perform with all of you."
