CHRISTIAN WINTER
Music Director

a musician from Southbury, CT, is excited to be returning to Landmark to bring the music of “West Side Story” to life! They began their work in musical directing with last year’s production of “Les Miserables” here at Landmark and was a musical assistant in a production of “Matilda” with NewArts in 2019, but their love of theatre began in 2015 with “The Little Mermaid” (junior production) at Newbury Musical Theatre. In addition to theatre, they have spent time working in film, either composing for short films or capturing audio. For the past three years they have been studying music and medievalism at Dickinson College, and in particular the guidance of Greg Strohman, Robert Pound, Ellen Gray, and Jennifer Blyth has been instrumental (pun intended) to their growth and development as a musician. Christian is supremely grateful for the opportunity to help bring this show to the Thomaston Opera House and to the actors, crew, and production team, whose efforts make the work of musical directing so joyous.
