has had a passion for the arts since the age of three. Shane, a licensed hairstylist and makeup artist, is also an accomplished dancer, choreographer, and performer with over 20 years of experience. Throughout his many years of dance expertise, Shane competed in the International Dance Organization’s World Tap Championships in Riesa, Germany, performed with Aaron Tolson’s pre-professional tap company called “Speaking in Taps”, and appeared in a music video for Australian pop artist, Michaela Baranov. Shane has earned numerous title awards in the competitive world of dance with Connecticut Dance Theatre & the Arts, an award winning studio in Prospect, CT, where he specializes in tap, jazz, hip-hop, lyrical, contemporary, ballet, and is currently teaching kids of all ages there. His theatre credits include “Hairspray”, “Wizard of Oz”, and “Grease”. This is Shane’s first production with Landmark Community Theatre and he’s not only excited to be an ‘Angel’ in “Kinky Boots” doing drag for the very first time, but is blessed and thankful to have been working and performing with such an amazing cast, crew, and production team. Lastly, Shane would like to thank his family, friends, dance teachers, and mentors for all of their continued love and support.
