Penny is honored to have her puppets returning to Perseverance Production’s tour of A Christmas Carol for the 6th year. Regional: Over 50 productions in New England, including Underground Railway Theatre, MIT, Connecticut Repertory Theater, O’Neill Theatre Center, Peabody Essex Museum, Puppet Showplace Theatre and Ballard Institute and Museum of Puppetry. Her work has toured nationally and internationally to Canada, Italy and China. Commercial / Video / Film include The Smithsonian Channel, Volvo/Mack Trucks, Sally Smart; The Pedagogical Puppet, and Overdue Films’ Poor Glenna. Her work has also been featured in gallery shows in NYC, Connecticut and Colorado. Penny recently relocated to the Denver area where she created puppets for the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center’s production of Rogers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella. She holds an MFA in Dramatic Arts and frequently serves as a guest teaching artist, director and puppetry coach.
