is the Director of the School of Theatre & Dance at the University of Houston and the Executive Director and Literary Director of the Houston Shakespeare Festival. He has over eighty professional dramaturgy credits across the U.S., including several productions at the Alley Theatre and the Guthrie Theater. He is the author of the book Alley Theatre: 75 Years as well as numerous articles in scholarly journals and anthologies.
