Steven Loch es de Denton, Texas. Se entrenó en el Ballet Conservatory de Lewisville, TX, bajo la dirección de Kelly Lannin. También estudió en el Harid Conservatory en Boca Raton, FL, y en la Pacific Northwest Ballet School en Seattle, WA, así como en los veranos con el American Ballet Theatre, la School of American Ballet y la Canada National Ballet School antes de unirse al Pacific Northwest Ballet en el 2011 bajo la dirección de Peter Boal.

En el 2014, Steven fue finalista en el USA International Ballet Competition. También ha sido artista invitado en el International Ballet Festival of Miami y en el Lake Cities Ballet Theatre, donde interpretó papeles principales en Giselle , Sleeping Beauty , The Nutcracker , Coppélia y Le Ballet de Dracula .
