Soprano Celene Totry, from Haifa, Israel, is a second-year Master of Music student at the Mannes School of Music in New York City. Her repertoire spans opera, art song, choral, contemporary, and Arabic classical music. During the 2026–27 season, she performed Una Conversa in Puccini’s Suor Angelica with Mannes Opera and will appear as Carmela in Menotti’s The Saint of Bleecker Street. Recent Mannes performances include Korngold’s Die stumme Serenade and Busoni’s Turandot. Celene is the First Prize winner of the 2023 Union Avenue Opera Crescendo Competition and a semifinalist in the 2024–25 Music International Grand Prix.
