Mohamed Karzon was born and raised in Ramallah, Palestine. He has performed all over the world both as a solo artist and with various groups such as the UpBeat Trio, Ens O Jam, the Palestine Youth Orchestra, and the Palestine National Orchestra.
 
Mohamed studied classical percussion in France before returning to Palestine to teach at local conservatories, and now lives in the Washington, DC area. He is one of the most sought after percussionists in Palestine and the Middle East for both Arab and classical percussion, known for his energetic darbuka and percussion performances.
