Nickey McMullen (Chief Agitator) is a powerhouse vocal performer who uses her voice to inspire, uplift & entertain, to educate, support the arts and illuminate social justice. As the Principal Artist, Managing Consultant for the Arts and Vocal Arts & Performance Coach under her companies SoulForSouls and LocalVocals, Nickey creates, curates and hosts several artistic events and music-based series such as the yearly "The Oasis: a High Noon Summer Concert Series" in partnership with The Valentine Museum. A heart for advocacy drives Nickey to serve in various capacities with many community organizations including Girls For A Change, Community 50/50, and JP JumPers Foundation. Nickey has enjoyed contributing her time and talents to several University of Richmond productions as Music Director (Standing Together 6 Ft Apart), Host (Extrodinoir: A Celebration of Black Voices), visiting Workshop Facilitator, and most recently as an ensemble member of The Meeting.
