Deandra Clarke, a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, has been dancing professionally for over 23 years and working in dance education for more than 16 years. Her performance credits include work with artists such as Ne-Yo, Alicia Keys, and Hilary Duff, as well as appearances on the Disney Channel. She currently serves as an Adjunct Professor of Hip Hop Dance at the University of Richmond. Deandra is also the owner of Studio 4 Dance Agency and the founder of the Virginia Dance Awards. In addition to her teaching and entrepreneurial work, she is an active freelance choreographer, dance agent, guest speaker, and dance advocate. She continues to champion the growth of the local dance community through her charity work across Virginia, including serving as Vice President of the Board of Directors for Dogtown Dance and as a member of the advisory board for the Virginia Commission for the Arts. This past summer, Deandra expanded her talents into musical theater working as choreographer for Fairview, The House that Will Note Stand, A Strange Loop, and Annie: The Musical.
