Aaron Johnson is an MTSU alumni who graduated in May of 2019 with a bachelor’s in theatre (acting focus), and has now been working as the Marketing Content Creator for the department for the past seven years. While strengthening his graphic design, he was also fortunate enough to stretch his abilities in acting and directing during a two-year hiatus in Chicago. He was cast in the 2020 Chicago Musical Theatre Festival as part of a premiering original musical, Moby Dick: A Musical. Since returning to Tennessee in 2021, he’s graciously been able to direct: Peter and the Starcatcher (Asst. Director at Springhouse Theatre), The Play That Goes Wrong (Center for the arts), Pippin (cfta), and The Odd Couple: Female Version (CFTA). He couldn’t be more thankful for the opportunity to work on MTSU Theatre and Dance’s Spring production of Clue!: On Stage. Getting to know and work with the students has been an edifying experience, and he hopes that they have enjoyed the process as much as he has.
