Rick Deussen is a scenic designer and technical director based in the Nashville, Tennessee area. He is a 1977 graduate of the University of Redlands who has been working in the entertainment industry for the past four decades. Rick has worked around the USA and internationally (including England, Brazil, and Hong Kong) as a scenic designer, carpentry supervisor, project manager, and technical director. Rick is currently designing MTSU’s Cabaret. Upcoming projects for Rick include scenic design for CYT Nashville’s upcoming productions of Matilda and Tarzan and working on SDMT’s next production, Xanadu.
