Lauren is currently the Assistant Professor of Theatre Directing at MTSU. Prior to that, she was the Associate Artistic Director at Chicago's Northlight Theatre. She has been nominated for Chicago’s Joseph Jefferson Award for best director for her production of The Cake with Rivendell Theatre. She has also directed productions at Northlight Theatre, Sideshow Theatre, Compass Theatre, Raven Theatre and Stage Left in Chicago. In Nashville, she has directed 8 productions with Nashville Repertory Theatre and has also worked with Studio Tenn and Street Theatre Company. Lauren holds an MA in Performance Studies from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill and an MFA in theatre directing from Northwestern University. www.LaurenShouseDirects.com
