2025 String Orchestra Concerto Competition Winner Kaydence Piechowski has been playing violin since fifth grade and bass since seventh grade. 

Music has always held a special place in her life. From a young age, she was drawn to it—always listening to music and dreaming of playing an instrument. Now, she has taken that passion further in orchestra.

This is her second year in MYSO. She initially played the violin in String Orchestra before transitioning to the bass this year. Kaydence is also learning guitar, piano, and viola.

In addition to music, she enjoys playing sports like soccer, football, and basketball, and loves to play video games and play with her two dogs. 

Kaydence would like to thank her school orchestra teacher Mrs. Michels, her mom, nana, uncle, aunt, and other family and friends.
