Elliana Kang, the winner of the 2024 MYSO String Orchestra Concerto Competition, is a fourth grader at Cumberland School in Whitefish Bay. She is in her first year at MYSO and holds the position of Concertmaster for String Orchestra North.
She began her violin studies at the age of seven in 2020 with The String Academy of Wisconsin (SAW). She began her journey with Heather Barker, and currently studies with Jamie Hofman, using the Suzuki method. She is also a part of SAW’s Ysaÿe group, led by Sherry Sinift.
