Rayna Kavalauskas
Fellow, John Downey Creation Project

Rayna Kavalauskas is a composer and clarinet player from the Waukesha area. A junior at Kettle Moraine School of Arts and Performance, she plans to attend college for media composition. She enjoys learning about music theory and music technology. Rayna participates in MYSO’s Senior Symphony and Chamber Orchestra.

Her piece, Prism Dance, creates unique textures by utilizing the lower voices in the ensemble. She thanks and attributes her love of music to her countless teachers who inspire her to pursue these skills and talents.
