Praise for SAMUEL COLERIDGE-TAYLOR

"Three cheers for this most enjoyable collection of premiere recordings...fully merits the spruce and infectiously committed advocacy it received here from the Maryland-based National Philharmonic at Strathmore under Michael Repper." – GRAMOPHONE

"The holistic approach of Stewart and Repper's new album – its mixture of recording, archival research and publishing – underscores the easily overlooked work required to make Samuel Coleridge-Taylor's music, and that of his peers, available to future audiences and performers." – NPR

"There is no better gift than a magnificent new recording that brings a few lost gems to a world that, until now, has rarely had the opportunity to hear them." – STRINGS MAGAZINE

"This album demonstrates both that Coleridge-Taylor's music is well worth resurrecting. What we now need are mainstream orchestras, ensembles, and leading artists to follow down the trail that Stewart, Repper, and the National Philharmonic have so ably blazed: the composer, the canon, and the audience deserve nothing less." – THE ARTS FUSE
