The Price Pledge Initiative aims to:

1. Produce musical programming and ethical engagement with historically overlooked communities
2. Provide accountability and ambassadors to help decolonize and center the music of black composers in the American music canon
3. Curate events that seek to educate the next generation about careers in the arts, and the rich legacy of black music makers
