Eric Goodman

Eric’s started dancing at age 16 after his brother tricked him into helping with a ballet adaptation of A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, performed in Olympia, WA.  He fell in love with it and has been dancing ever since.  During his undergraduate education, Eric joined Brigham Young University’s Theatre Ballet, and guested with regional Utah companies.  He came to the Boulder area in 2012 to obtain a PhD in computer science and continued to contribute to the dance community, with recurring roles in Boulder Ballet’s Nutcracker and other productions.  Eric’s day job involves researching Artificial Intelligence and computer security solutions, but his real passion is writing fiction, with a recently completed novel entitled “Spinning Utopia” (under pen name Jupiter Magna).
