Lizanne McAdams-Graham has over 38 years experience as a professional dancer and instructor. She began training at the age of three under the direction of her late mother, Lorraine McAdams, Director of the National Ballet of New Jersey. She joined the Croatian National Ballet Theatre in Zagreb, Yugoslavia at the age of 17 and danced many principal and leading roles. Ms. McAdams-Graham later became principal dancer with the renowned ODC/San Francisco and made guest appearances with the Los Angeles, Santa Fe, Pittsburgh, and San Francisco Opera Ballet Companies. Upon retiring from performing, Ms. McAdams-Graham served on the faculty of several renowned ballet companies and university programs. She was the Director and Founder of the High Pointe Dance Academy, a pre-professional children’s school, and taught professional level and company class throughout the Colorado front range before joining Boulder Ballet as School Director in 2021.
