Dunn-Harr derived much of her early experience from the traditional Warren Hunter School of Art and through the years she has studied independently in academies abroad and with other inspiring artists. She continues to embrace formalism while stepping out of bounds to explore the endless possibilities. More recently, she has become intrigued with religious icons, sacred places and moments, and a Church Series was born. Flowers are a vital part of her compositions, and the forms are beautiful, sensuous, and fragile. . . a metaphor for life.
Dunn-Harr considers herself a Contemporary Realist. Her career as a painter/artist spans 50 years. She teaches and exhibits internationally.
