Kärin Kopischke (Costume Design) is delighted to return to Northlight Theatre, having previously designed The Cripple of Inishmaan and several others. Kärin received the Joseph Jefferson Award, AriZoni Award, and a Prague Quadrennial nomination for her costume designs. She has designed for regional theatre Tony winners American Conservatory Theater, Chicago Shakespeare, Goodman, Steppenwolf, Utah Shakespeare, Long Wharf, Victory Gardens, Children's Theatre Company, Crossroads, Huntington, and Cincinnati Playhouse, as well as the Milwaukee Rep, San Francisco Shakespeare, California Shakespeare, and American Players. Kärin taught costume design at DePaul and Northwestern and heads the Lawrence University costume design department. She designed new works for Harry Connick Jr., Stephen Schwartz, the Pulitzer Prize-winning opera Silent Night, and the world-premiere opera The Shining at Minnesota Opera. Proud member of U.S.A.A.
