Beth Olin is a mezzo-soprano from Thibodaux, Louisiana. She has worked in numerous productions at Northwestern State University where she majored in vocal performance and minored in theatre. She has worked in numerous theatre productions at the school and done work with Thibodaux playhouse. She was a part of the Northwestern Chamber Choir, which placed third in the National Ave Verum competition in Austria, Germany. She is currently a graduate student at Samford University, getting her master’s in vocal performance. She was a shepherdess in Samford’s production of Amahl and The Night Visitors. She is excited to sing with Opera Birmingham today.
