DeLee Michiko Benton is a member of the Opera Birmingham Studio at Samford University pursuing their master's degree in vocal performance. A few of their favorite past credits include Amahl and the Night Visitors (Mother, Samford Opera), The Marriage of Figaro (Susanna, University of Montevallo), Little Red’s Most Unusual Day (Little Red, Opera Birmingham), and La Bohème (Ensemble, Opera Birmingham).

Their biggest joy in life is their husband, Justice, and their three adorable cats. DeLee would like to thank their mentor, Mary Gurney, for her guidance and support.
