Jordan Dark
soprano

Jordan Dark is a soprano from Dadeville, Alabama. She began singing at nine years old in her local church choir and developed a love for music. Jordan was a member of the chamber and show choirs at Tallassee High School, where she served as a section leader. She received her bachelor’s degree in vocal performance from Auburn University in 2020 and is currently working on her master’s degree in vocal performance at Samford University. During her time at Auburn, Jordan was a part of the university women’s choir and was a choral scholar at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church. She also participated in the inaugural International Music Festival at the American University of Sharjah in the UAE. Jordan has performed many operatic roles in her time at Auburn and Samford, her favorites have been Magda (La Rondine), Countess (Figaro), and Mrs. Fiorintino (Street Scene). In January of 2023, Jordan was chosen as a finalist at the Vann Vocal Institute in Montgomery, Alabama.
