Caitlyn Rodrigue of Thibodaux, Louisiana is pursuing her Master’s degree in vocal performance from Samford University. Caitlyn finished her undergraduate degree in vocal performance from Southeastern Louisiana University in May of 2021, where she studied with Kay Schepker. As an undergraduate, Caitlyn received the Ralph R. Pottle Award for outstanding freshman and the James Wilcox Award for outstanding senior. She is currently in the studio of Dr. Sharon Lawhon and is a member of the Opera Birmingham Studio at Samford University. This is her first performance with Opera Birmingham. Previously, she has performed the roles of Terentia in The Beautiful Bridegroom, The Baker’s Wife in Into the Woods, a chorus member in Ruddigore, and a chorus member in Die Fledermaus.
