Sam Phillips is a senior vocal performance major from Tulsa, Oklahoma, studying at Samford University. While at Samford, he studied with Dr. Angela Yoon and currently studies with Dr. Chris Withrow. He appeared in Samford Opera’s production of The Magic Flute as Papageno and in Amahl and the Night Visitors as Melchior. This year, Sam is looking forward to returning to the Samford mainstage in the debut performance of the opera Dragon’s Breath by Evan Mack and Joshua McGuire, in the role of Dewitt.
