Soprano Emily Scott is active throughout the greater Birmingham area. She holds a bachelor’s and master’s in Music Education from Samford University. Previously, Emily has been seen as Kate in The Pirates of Penzance, Stepmother in Into the Woods, and Everybody in Lucinda y las Flores de la Nochebuena. In July 2022, she completed the Opera Viva! Young Artist program in Verona, Italy, where she performed scenes from L'elisir d'amore (Gianetta) and The Phantom of the Opera (Christine). Emily is also an active soloist at Meadow Brook Baptist Church.
