Dr. Kathleen Ruhleder teaches music at Snead State Community College in Boaz, Alabama.  Dr. Ruhleder has previously taught at Houston Community College, Colorado Mesa University, and at the Maricopa Community Colleges in Phoenix.

Performance highlights include the operatic roles Suzuki in Madam Butterfly and The Witch in Hansel and Gretel with High Dessert Opera, three educational tours with Arizona Opera, and opera chorus positions with Houston Grand Opera, Arizona Opera and Phoenix Opera.

Dr. Ruhleder has performed as a soloist with the Phoenix Symphony, Tucson Symphony, Grand Junction Symphony, Scottsdale Symphony and Symphony of the Southwest.  She has extensive experience singing with professional choral ensembles including Bach Society Houston, Houston Chamber Choir, Phoenix Chorale, and more.
