Lenny Wee is a music director, composer, arranger, orchestrator and keyboardist. He has composed, arranged, and orchestrated music for numerous television shows such as The Academy Awards (Oscars), American Idol, Kennedy Center Honors,
The Grammys, The Emmys, and various Disney Television Specials (Christmas, Mickey’s 90th Spectacular and Disneyland 60th). Lenny also served as staff arranger on NBC’s The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, as well as Conductor for TV and live performances such as The Grammys, Aretha!: A Grammy Salute, Grammy Salutes Motown 60th, and The Billboard Awards.
Lenny has also arranged and produced music for and with Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson, Celine Dion, Gladys Knight, Meghan Trainor, Jessi J, Natalie Cole, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson, Michael McDonald, Aretha Franklin, Neil Diamond and Christina Aguilera.
Lenny served Music Director for Jennifer Lopez’s performance at Joe Biden’s Presidential Inauguration Ceremony in 2021 and Music Director for Disney’s a cappella (D’cappella) 4th of July show at the Pasadena Rose. In 2019, Lenny arranged and orchestrated the American National Anthem for Gladys Knight’s performance at Super Bowl LIII.
Lenny will be featured as Music Director on CBS’s upcoming competition show, Superfan.
