In recent years, I have concentrated more on developing music that is based on the simplest and simplest possible themes. The “building blocks” for the soundscapes that I develop from them are almost minimalistic. (Nevertheless, the music is by no means “minimal music”)

The result is music that immediately picks up and touches the listener.

For me, composing with tonality is far from being exhausted, and in addition to developing melodies, it provides the basis for my work.

Ritus begins with a short motif: a solemn repetition of a pulse. This pulsation represents a ritual, a “consistent ritual”. What follows is a brilliant wandering without losing the path because every (musical) step is part of the motif.

The music was created from a collaboration with musicians from the AUNER QUARTET that has lasted for years. They are planning a CD with the work of the same name (RITUS).
