This is Sara’s 2nd appearance with Orchestra Kentucky having sung with her father, Tim King, here while still in high school.
Sara is a “theatre baby” having made her debut at the age of 4 weeks as the “Baby” in the musical BABY at Derby Dinner Playhouse in Southern Indiana.
Since then, Sara has appeared in over 100 musicals throughout the Mid-West with lead roles in MARY POPPINS, THE MUSIC MAN and INTO THE WOODS. Sara returned to her roots and was a resident performer with Derby Dinner Playhouse for many years. She is a graduate of Otterbein University and is a former U.S. Presidential Arts Scholar with appearances at The Kennedy Center and Off-Broadway.
In addition to Orchestra Kentucky, Sara has performed alongside her father with the Chattanooga Symphony, the North Charleston Pops and, on numerous occasions, with The Louisville Orchestra.
A bride of less than two months, Sara calls Southern Indiana home with her husband, Clayton, and has an active voice studio.
