HANNAH VANDERPOOL(Madame) holds a bachelor of music and German from Western Kentucky University. She is a classically trained soprano and cellist who studied for several years with Metropolitan Opera alum Elizabeth Volkman. She has performed the roles of Josephine in HMS Pinafore, Eliza Dolittle in My Fair Lady, Anna in The King and I, Laurie in The Tenderland, the daughter in Sunday Pages, a daughter of the Major General in Pirates of Penzance, Rose in Meet Me in Saint Louis, as well as various opera theatre roles. Recently, she joined Ramsey Theatre Company as Marie in Beauty and the Beast. She has sung in London, Paris, Zurich, Ljubljana, and Vienna. When she isn’t performing, she teaches third-graders at Holy Trinity Lutheran School. She finds that they make the best audience of all.
